What happens when the sun goes down?, man has continually sought better ways to combat the darkness. Fire was always the dominant form of artificial lighting, only the way the flame is fed, contained and maintained has varied depending on materials available, technology, and ingenuity. The lighting they used during the medieval ages, has only been casually mentioned in records, while our films show dragon heads cast in bronze throwing out flames that could light a large hall Very Happy Dragons were not real.....

During the medieval period, they did use candles, lamps, touches, and had a central or large fire places.
