Margaret Jones 1648. The first witch to be executed in Massachusetts Bay
Colony, she was accused of being a witch after patients under her care as their
physician had gotten sicker.
The reason why many patients got worse was because
they refused to take medicines prescribed for them.

his wife, Alice, were taken to court, fined,and commanded to admit
that the court was right in executing Margaret Jones as a witch.
