Lodges

There is not a lot of difference between a Lodge and a Chalet as far as amenities are concerned, other than the way they are constructed, they are both the same.

Lodges may be a term used in Scandinavian counties, or Canada or anywhere there may be snow. When I think of a lodge I always think of snow :)-

They are simply log cabins, and yet another name that's took off in the UK to describe something that we already had, but made it sound better with a new name :)-

Glen Nevis Lodges
"Visualise your own high quality, self contained accommodation in a unique location amidst the rich history and legend of Highland Scotland. A place rich in wildlife where deer, pine marten, buzzard and golden eagle are but a few. Unsurpassed scenery, equally splendid from the fresh green mantle of spring to the golden plaid of autumn or the frosty cloak of winter. "

Not much describing what a Lodge is there?
