A lot of hotels in Britain are old properties and so fit in well
with the surroundings, visiting an old city with castles old
buildings, but then staying in a modern hotel might not be ideal.

Well that's how they describe themselves, having never
stayed in one, I cant comment truthfully. I do know that you cannot
please yourself, eat when you want, get up when you want, so perhaps
these restrictions might put you off.
You would need to book in advance, especially during peak
periods, so contact them month in advance and see what they have to
say, or be disappointed when they are full up.
