Staying with family or friends is a good place to camp for a few
days :)- but remember, although you are on holiday they are not.
Also think about how much you would spend on food for the week, so
don't expect people to give you a place to stay for free.
If the family is working, offer to help out by cooking the
evening meals, or the breakfast. If your living overseas and don't
see your family members very often, then I guess you will have a
great time. But if you do see them regular, then perhaps you should
think about just visiting, and sleeping somewhere else. They may not
even have the room for you..
Where ever you go, and if its camping, have a good time...
P.S.
Unlike parts of Europe, you might not be able to higher "tents" and
camping equipment, so always check before you set off.
