 The
British B & B are famous world over :)- if you visit any town you
will find them everywhere, and the coast lines have them every other
house :) Places like Blackpool have them all along the sea front. As
the name suggests you get a place to sleep for the night and a
breakfast the next morning.
Most of which are converted houses, so may only have room for 8
people or less, but they are a good place to stay if your on a
budget, costing around £15 to £40 a night...
Usually a country home or inn where room and
breakfast are provided at one price. The term is used in Great
Britain, but not in the rest of Europe. On the continent look for a
pension, gasthof, or private family house with one or two rooms for
overnight visitors.
