If your source is AVI make sure you check it for bad frames, before you do anything

You need to use TMPGEnc or some other encoding program and convert your AVI or Mpeg to a DVD mpeg, if you use TMPGEnc just load a DVD template

Load TMPGEnc DVD author and click the button to make a new project

Click the button "Add File" and select your dvd mpeg from your hard drive.

You can continue without adding chapters

Scroll to where you want the chapters, and click "add current frame to chapter" do this as many times as you want then click OK

Label your track double click the "untitled track 1" then click OK
 
Now click "Create menu"

 Select what background you want, label your title, click next page, then click output

Check the box to create DVD folder, Browse to where you want it to save, click "Begin Output"

You are now ready to burn the disk, insert a blank DVD and let it settle, click the open DVD writing tool. Select your writing speed, disk label, and finally click "Write DVD"

Go make a coffee, in fact with today's writing speeds for DVD, make several coffees
