Medieval Journey, Camp site

Well I got away un detected at 1:00am and have travelled many miles now. I set up camp outside a village in a farm field, where nobody will see me.

I have a few tips for you that like camping.
  • Wool, It will keep you warm even when it's pouring rain.
  • Don't just wear a cloak at night.
  • Bundle Up at Night For wandering around in the cold wear a head scarf under your cloak. Add layers.
  • Wear a nightcap when sleeping, at really cold events it makes a big difference.
  • Sleeping Clothes, You do wear clothes to sleep in, don't you? You want to cover your extremities (feet, head, hands)
  • Sleeping Hood, make a 14th century hood & mantle out of flannel. They are cosy to sleep in
  • Dry Socks, putting on dry socks every night to go to bed
Later today I start walking...
