14th April 2007, I visited Aberfan once more, have you ever been
somewhere and just had this awful feeling?
My first visit was to the Pantglas Junior school memorial garden and
a children's play park next to it. I don't know who is responsible
for the play parks upkeep, but think they are not doing a very good
job, with rubbish scattered everywhere.
The garden was peaceful, and I strolled about with thought of why it
was there.
  Well the tree hasn't gown much in 7 years !
I wonder if "Her
Majesty" remembers planting it ?
