Send In a Missing Rhyme

Nursery Rhymes are a short poem, usually with regular rhyme and metre, and handed down from generation to generation, a tale in rhymed verse for children.

Not all Nursery Rhyme are what they seam, some are from the dark ages, telling stories of death, like the black plague (Ring a ring a roses) Sometimes political, another interpretation of "Pop Goes the Weasel" is that it is about silk weavers taking their shuttle or bobbin (known as a "weasel"), to a pawnbrokers to obtain money for drinking.

What ever their past meanings, they are with us forever more, and sang and enjoyed by millions the world over, teaching our children, even if they are not politically correct they are here to stay.

Help build the database with original Rhymes, any sent in will be researched before being added.
